I have volunteered for the Plant City Historical Society for 19 years. I also volunteer with Plant City Entertainment.
I have been married to Sandy for 18 years. We don't have children but Sandy's mom, Vera lives with us. Vera turned 91 last December.

One situation I attended was a trip to Washington University in St. Louis. The trip was sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, of which I was a Vice President of our chapter at the time. We were at the university for a week with 2 presentations a day given by the leaders in several different disciplines.
I love oysters. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino. They have a restaurant called the Fresh Harvest which serves a buffet featuring 7 different types of cuisine including all you can eat oysters. That was my perfect day. Only to be repeated during months with the letter "R."
I'm originally from Chicago. I've lived in California, Colorado, Arizona, Missouri and several areas of Florida. Sandy and I decided Plant City would be our home and we have been here since April 2001. We are both familiar with the surrounding areas as well.
Anything that would reduce lower back pain. I'd be called "Ibuprofen-ator." My days filled with conquering my evil nemesis "Sciatica." As well as thwarting his underlings "Inflammation " and "Bulging Disc." People would tremble because of my nerve endings of steel.
Experience Checked off Bucket List?
I don't have a bucket list. Someday I would like to hike the Appalachian Trail. It is not on a list. If it happens, it happens. Besides, regardless of what the event is, will the event be as exciting as the planning and dreaming prior to the event? Let's just see how exciting today can be.
Favorite Board/Card Game?
Cribbage is one of my favorite games. My father taught me how to play. He still lives outside of Chicago and we play a game or two whenever I get to see him.
What's for Dinner Tonight?
Chicken, if it's not chicken it tastes like chicken. Chicken is healthy for everyone... except the chicken.
Inspiration comes from experience and exposure. We're all exposed to whatever we come into contact with building an experience. Then we recall the experience and apply it to the new exposure. We know what worked in the past and then apply the new exposure to see if is compatible or contradictory.
